Hello again. In case anybody wondered why there were no new entries during the last weeks – I was on vacation in France, without access to the net but obviously with my camera. Since I had to go about 1400 km, this first day was spent driving. So was half of the second day. Don’t worry though – there’s a lot of boring pictures in this post, but I think the sunset is worth scrolling down ;)

Welcome back Windows Live Writer. I searched for WYSIWYG blog editors for OSX and tested a few, but none of them provided the speed and ease of use Live Writer does. No problem, thanks to Parallels.

Aside from that problem the switch to Mac went very smooth. I’ll have to rely on Parallels for Photoshop and Live Writer though, at least until Adobe CS5 gets published. And I’ll have to catalogue all my images anew, since I switched my archive from ACDSee to iPhoto.

Uhm, interesting reading.

Trying to move a Windows installation as a disk image from one hard drive to another, replace the drives and have it boot. Failed.

I finally compiled some of my photographs as iPhone / iPod touch wallpapers. This collection features exclusively animals. While some of the pictures were already published before, many are shots I dug out of my archive especially for this purpose.

This is labeled “edition 1” since I plan to compile other wallpaper packs with different themes in the future.
