- I was born in 1983 in Lemgo, Germany. I studied physics at Heidelberg University, graduating in 2011 and I am currently employed at the Institute for Environmental Physics at Heidelberg as a PhD student working on my thesis project.

As an autodidact photographer there is still a lot to learn about the art and many new subjects to explore. While I started photography focusing on landscaping and nature, I currently am most interested in shooting people, journalistic and travel photography. Professionally, I currently work as a wedding, travel and sports photographer.
